Airbus considers stepping up A320 production

EADS released its first quarter 2011 figures on the 13 May 2011. They were encouraging results while the recovery of the global economy continues to support the growth of passenger traffic. Based on this positive momentum, Airbus was analysing a further increase in its single aisle production rate (A320) which is currently scheduled to increase to 40 aircraft per month by Q1 2012.
