A meeting gathering ministers from the European Union (EU) and the countries of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) regions was held on 31 May and 1 June 2018, in Lomé.

The two sides adopted a joint declaration on climate change. Ministers also discussed the future of the relations between ACP countries and the EU, in particular following the expiration of the existing ACP-EU partnership agreement (Cotonou agreement) in 2020. With regards to migration, ministers took stock of the implementation of the Valletta action plan, the EU emergency trust fund for Africa, and the ACP-EU migration dialogue.

The joint Council also discussed a set of economic issues.
