This dictionary aims to give a comprehensive overview of the development and current status of the European Union. The dictionary has over 1000 entries including information such as: explanations of complex EU terminology; the role of EU institutions; profiles of Member States and people who have played prominent roles in the EU; accounts of historical and current issues; outlines of the significance of treaties; programmes and policies; and definitions of acronyms and abbreviations.
