A £70million Euro-backed initiative to tackle many of the major barriers unemployed people face when wanting to learn new skills or return to work has been launched by the Welsh Assembly Government 2 October 2008.

The Genesis Cymru.Wales project is partly funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Social Funding programmes. The project works along side individuals to help them explore long forgotten hopes and aspirations and provides guidance and support to help them achieve their hopes and aspirations towards building a brighter future.
