The work programme for the European Research Council for 2016 was published in July 2015, with the body having a budget of over €1.6bn in 2016. Three schemes will be available for applications, namely Starting Grants, which will have a total budget of around €485m in 2016; Consolidator Grants, which have a budget of €605m; and Advanced Grants, with total funding worth €540m. A number of other instruments are also being funded by the ERC during 2016. |
