15th EU-Kyrgyzstan Cooperation Council, 6 March 2017

The fifteenth Cooperation Council between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union was held on 6 March 2017.

The Council reviewed the latest political developments in the country, ahead of a presidential election scheduled for November 2017. The EU encouraged Kyrgyzstan to build on the success of the successful parliamentary election held in 2015.

There was also a discussion on bilateral relations, economic cooperation and support for development.
