14th EU-Tunisia Association Council, 15 May 2018

Summary:

The fourteenth meeting of the Association Council between Tunisia and the European Union (EU) was held on 15 May 2018, in which the strategic priorities for their partnership in 2018-2020 were agreed.

Further information:

Both sides noted the many ways in which their cooperation had been enhanced and strengthened on key matters since the previous meeting. There was also a discussion on the regional situation.

In the margins of the meeting, Tunisia and the European Union signed an administrative agreement between the EEAS and the Tunisian Minister for Foreign Affairs which would allow diplomats and officials to follow short work placements in their respective institutions.
