Decision (EU) 2018/1034 on the position to be taken within the Joint Committee established under the Agreement on the international occasional carriage of passengers by coach and bus (Interbus Agreement)

Summary:

On 16 May 2018 the European Commission presented a proposal for a Council Decision on the position to be taken on the Union's behalf regarding amendments to the Interbus Agreement.

The Council of the European Union adopted a Decision on 16 July 2018.

The Agreement on the international occasional carriage of passengers by coach and bus (Interbus Agreement) aims to facilitate international occasional services by coach and bus between the Contracting Parties. The Agreement entered into force on 1 January 2003.

The Joint Committee amends or adapts control documents and other models of documents established in the Annexes to the Agreement. During its meeting in 2018, the Joint Committee is expected to adopt a Decision updating the Agreement to technical and legislative progress since the end of 2009.
