Eurogroup meeting, 24 May 2018

Summary:

A meeting of the Eurogroup was held on 24 May 2018. It took place in its regular format as well as in an inclusive format, comprising EU27 Member States. The agenda includes the following topics:

+ Information on the staff-level agreement concluded by the institutions and the Greek authorities on the country's economic adjustment programme and discussion on possible debt measures in this context;

+ Presentation of the 2018 Spring Forecast by the European Commission;

+ Follow-up discussion on spending reviews, focusing on the challenge of ensuring ownership when conducting these reviews;

+ Exchange of views on the completion of the banking union and future role of the European Supervisory Mechanism (ESM) - discussion held in the inclusive format.
