Delegated and Implementing Measures in the Banking Field-Forthcoming Level 2 Acts under CRD IV and CRR [2018 update]

Briefing: Scrutiny Papers are drawn up by officials of the relevant committees of the European Parliament to help Members of the European Parliament on the committees in their work on scrutiny of delegated acts.This briefing focused on the not yet delivered delegated acts under the Capital Requirements Directive 2013/36/EU (CRD IV) and the Capital Requirements Regulation (EU) 575/2013 (CRR) Both contain empowerments for the European Commission to adopt ‘level 2’ measures (e.g. delegated acts and regulatory technical standards), the majority - but not all - have been completed to date.

Remaining measures were due to be discussed in the European Parliament ECON Committee on the 26 March 2018.
