The European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee hotsted the third Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference on 20-21 February 2018. Further information: The Conference brough together businesses, local authorities, and citizens to discuss a set of initiatives and new areas of action in the transition to a more circular, resource-efficient and low-carbon economy. Participants examined the proposed EU Strategy for Plastics and debated possible actions in this area.
