Background The Council of the European Union's Committee of Permanent Representatives endorsed on 15 November 2017 the information agreement reached with the European Parliament on two proposals which are part of a legislative package on the banking reform.One of the proposals from the 2016 banking reform package, dealing with the ranking of unsecured debt instruments in insolvency hierarchy, was due to be voted during the November II 2017 plenary session of the European Parliament. |
