A meeting of the Eurogroup was held on 15 September 2017. The agenda includes the following items:

+ Exchange of views on the potential future roles and tasks of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) in the context of the broader debate on the future of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU);

+ Discussion on how to best finance labour tax cuts, following up on previous discussions on the tax wedge on labour;

+ Information on the results of the sixth post-programme surveillance mission to Portugal, which took place from 26 June to 4 July.
