Ukraine’s New Military Engagement in the Donbas

Commentary feature in which the author argued that the gap between US (supplying Javelin anti-tank missiles) and EU views (critical of the development) on Ukraine was hindering an effective Western strategy to end the war in the country’s eastern region.

This was at the time when Ukraine had replaced on the 30 April 2018 its earlier antiterrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas with a new Joint forces operation (JFO).
