The ninth meeting of the Accession Conference with Montenegro at ministerial level was held on 20 June 2017 in Brussels to open negotiations on chapter 1 (free movement of goods) and chapter 22 (regional policy and coordination of structural instruments). Furthermore, the accession conference provisionally closed negotiations on chapter 30 (external relations). Following this Conference, Montenegro had 28 chapters opened out of 35 of which 3 chapters had already been provisionally closed. The accession negotiations were launched in June 2012. |
