The European Parliament's plenary session adopted on 15 March 2017 its views on the priorities for the European Union's budget in 2018. MEPs highlighted the need for growth and jobs, particularly for young people, to remain key EU budget priorities. The European Commission was scheduled to present its budget proposal in May 2017. The Council of the European Union set out its priorities in February. |
