State aid: Commission green-lights German green cars infrastructure

The European Commission announced on 13 February 2017 its decision to consider Germany's scheme to roll out a network of user-friendly infrastructure for charging electric vehicles across the country as in line with EU state aid rules.

The Commission considered this scheme addresses a real gap in the market without unduly affecting competition in the single market.
