Resolution of issues related to reopening of the Mitrovica Bridge

On the 5 February 2017, the constructive commitment in the last two meetings of the Dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo brought results. The most important issues related to the pedestrianisation of King Petar Street and the reopening of Mitrovica Bridge have been successfully resolved in Pristina.

For the European Union, by this construction, Leaders in the region were demonstrating courage and vision by taking down walls and focusing on building bridges. This was very much the spirit of the EU-facilitated Dialogue for normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
After this event, the EU insure that they would continue its facilitation with strong engagement and I am looking forward to continuing the Dialogue with the leaders of both sides.
