The 2015-2017 “Integrated Plan for Family Support” recently adopted by the Spanish Government considers the family as the basic unit of society and as such as fundamental for social cohesion. By supporting families with three or more children, single parent families and families with members with disabilities, the Plan aims to address some of the socio-demographic challenges affecting Spanish society.
