In order to address several challenges in the field of employment policies, Italy adopted in December 2014 a “Jobs Act”. This law will result in substantial reforms in Italian labour market policies. In 2015, the EU Council of Ministers endorsed a Country Specific Recommendation encouraging the Italian government to adopt the remaining legislative decrees in order to fully implement it.
