EU welcomes temporary suspension of hostilities decided by Mozambique’s Government and Renamo

The European Union's Heads of Mission in Mozambique welcomed on 5 January 2017 the temporary suspension of hostilities decided by the Government and political movement Renamo.

The EU also reaffirmed its support to negotiations between the two sides in order to reach a longlasting state of peace and stability.
