Capital Markets Union: Commission welcomes agreement to give companies easier access to capital markets

On 8 December 2016, the EU agreed on a new set of rules to support companies raising money on capital markets to invest and grow. It would also help investors to make better and more informed decisions.

The European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission had reached an agreement on enhanced prospectus regulation.
