The EU is providing aid worth €213.5 million to Tunisia for reforms and funding social infrastructure

On 5 December 2016, the European Commission reaffirmed its support to Tunisia with a new financial assistance package worth a total of €213.5 million for reforms and funding social infrastructure. This aid package was aimed at boosting Tunisia's transition towards a modern democracy based on freedoms, socio-economic development and social justice.
