The European Commission has decided to refer Spain to the Court of Justice of the EU for failing to comply with the conditions which must be met by undertakings in order to operate in the road transport market. These conditions are laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009. Road transport operators must have at their disposal one or more vehicles registered in the Member State of establishment. Spanish legislation, however, requires undertakings to have at their disposal at least three vehicles. |
