Eurogroup meeting, 7 November 2016

A meeting of the Eurogroup was held on 7 November 2016. The agenda included the following topics:

+ Presentation by the Chair of the ECB's Supervisory Board on Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) activities since April;

+ Information on the the Single Resolution Board's activities;

+ Discussion on national insolvency frameworks, following up on the agreement regarding a list of principles to improve their efficiency and effectiveness;

+ Briefing on the preliminary results a review mission in the context of the second review of Greece's financial assistance programme;

+ Presentation of a report on the technical assistance provided to the Greek authorities by the European Commission's structural reform support service (SRSS), set up in July 2015;

+ Information on the findings of the first post-programme surveillance mission to Cyprus and of the sixth post-programme surveillance mission to Spain;

+ Information on the assessment made by the Commission and the ECB of inflation developments in the Eurozone.
