General Affairs Council, 18 October 2016

A meeting of the General Affairs Council was held on 18 October 2016. The agenda included the following topics:

+ Conclusion of the preparations for the European Council summit taking place on 20-21 October;

+ Update on the state of play of the mid-term review of the EU's multiannual budgetary framework (MFF) for 2014-2020;

+ Information on the implementation of the interinstitutional agreement on better regulation, adopted by the Council on 15 March.
