Mergers: Commission clears acquisition of telecommunications provider TDC Sweden by Tele2

The European Commission cleared on 7 October 2016 unconditionally the proposed acquisition of TDC Sweden by Tele2, both telecommunications providers.

The Commission concluded that the transaction would raise no competition concerns, in particular because the companies' activities were largely complementary.
