Statement by Federica Mogherini on the signing of the peace agreement between the Government of Afghanistan and Hezb-e-Islami

On the 29 September 2016, a statement was published by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, on the conclusion of the peace agreement between the Government of Afghanistan and Hezb-e-Islami. By signing the milestone agreement, both parties committed themselves to its fully implementation.
