On the 29 September 2016, a speech was delivered at the Digital Assembly 2016 in Bratislava by the European Commission Vice-President, Andrus Ansip. During his speech, Mr Ansip mentioned the advantages of the Internet of Things (“IoT”), which will raise the quality of living, he also pointed out the changing role of the smartphones and the need to ensure the protection of copyrights, as well as the data protection.
