Remarks by Federica Mogherini at the meeting of the Partnership Group on Myanmar

A text of a speech delivered on the 23 September 2016 by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini. The High Representative highlighted the Nobel Prize laureate, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, and praised the progress Myanmar has made since she was released from house arrest. European Union promised to further provide political and financial support to the country’s peace process.
