Launch of the 3rd EU Multi-Layer Crisis Management Exercise

On the 8 September 2016, the European Union released an announcement on the launch of the 3rd EU Multi-Layer Crisis Management Exercise (ML16). The aim of the exercise, organized by the European External Action Service, is to improve the European Union’s capacity to manage civilian and military crises and to rapidly implement its Comprehensive Approach in a changing environment. Third countries and international organisations with a valid security agreement with the Union are invited to observe the exercise.
