Phone calls between the High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini and the President and Chief Executive of Afghanistan

On the 25 August 2016, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, spoke with the Chief Executive of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah, and with the President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, to express her condolences and to condemn the attack on the American University in Kabul. The upcoming Brussels Conference on Afghanistan, which is going to be held on the 4 and 5 October 2016, was discussed as well.
