Antitrust: Commission accepts commitments by container liner shipping companies on price transparency

On the 7 July 2016, the European Commission adopted a decision which renders legally binding the commitments offered by fourteen container liner shipping companies.

Because more than half of the EU imports and exports are carried by sea, it was really essential to increase the competition in this field and make the prices for these services more transparent for customers.
