Pro-EU Vucic set for landslide in Serbian snap election

Aleksandar Vucic of the Progressive Party (SNS), the incumbent Prime Minister, claimed victory in the early parliamentary elections held in Serbia on the 24 April 2016 securing approximately half of the votes cast.

However, pro-Russia far-right parties also made gains with the Radicals under their controversial leader Vojislav Seselj were set to return to Parliament after a 4-year absence.
