On 19 August 2015, Belgium submitted application EGF/2015/007 BE/Hainaut-Namur Glass for a financial contribution from the EGF, following redundancies in the glass manufacturing sector in the regions of Hainaut and Namur. Following its assessment of this application, the Commission has concluded that the conditions for awarding a financial contribution from the EGF are met.
