On 21 January 2016 the President of the European Council Donald Tusk met with Prime Minister of Lebanon Tammam Salam to prepare for the upcoming London Conference, 'Supporting Syria and the region'. Mr.Tusk confirmed commitment of the European Union to support Lebanon in solution of refugee crisis and appreciated efforts of Lebanon in countering violent extremism. |
