Press Release: Terrorism debate: ‘The threat seems to be increasing in the EU and further afield’

The European Parliament's plenary session held a debate on 21 January 2016 regarding the fight against terrorism, as terrorists continued to strike across the globe.

Members of the parliament discussed the best ways to tackle the increasing threat, and many of them highlighted the importance of exchanging information as well as the need to strengthen border controls. They also called on member states to step up collaboration.
