Meeting: Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 16 November 2015

A meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council took place on 16 November 2015. The following topics were discussed:

+ Exchange of views on the state of play the simplification of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), as part of the EU's overall strategy for better regulation.

+ Briefing on the state of play regarding international agricultural trade issues.

+ Implementation of the package of measures addresing the situation of different agricultural sectors. The €500 million worth measures were presented at an extraordinary Council in September 2015.
