Press Release: Commission proposes fishing opportunities in the Atlantic and North Sea for 2016

The European Commission unveiled on 10 November 2015 its proposal for fish quotas in 2016 concerning the Atlantic and the North Sea.

The Commission proposed to maintain or increase the fish quotas for 35 stocks, and reduce catches for 28 stocks on the basis of the scientific advice received.
