Meeting: Justice and Home Affairs Council, 09 November 2015

A meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs Council took place on 9 November 2015 in Brussels.

The migrant crisis was the main discussion topic, as the situation on the ground deteriorated. The Council showed its intention to strenghten and operationalise the European Union's response, guarantee follow-up on and the implementation of measure previously decided.

Ministers were expected to establish a further course of action to handle the refugee and migration crisis by adopting a set of conclusions.
