Press Release: President Juncker launches the EU Emergency Trust Fund to tackle root causes of irregular migration in Africa

On 12 November 2015, the European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker, launched with other EU Member States and other European donors the EU's Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa.
