France’s Veolia accused of large-scale corruption in Romania

Media reported in September 2015 that France's Veolia was at the centre of a corruption scandal in Romania, after its local subsidiary, the Apa Nova water and sewage company, was accused of bribing local authorities to approve higher prices for its services.
