On 18 September 2015, the Council appointed 338 of the 350 members of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) for the period from 21 September 2015 to 20 September 2020.

On 1 October 2015, the Council appointed the twelve remaining members whose nominations had not been communicated to the Council by the deadline and could not be included in the decision of 18 September 2015. The additional list includes three pending members from the Netherlands and the nine members from Lithuania.
