Waste generated and treated in Europe – data 1995-2003. 2005 edition

The year 2005 edition presents an update of the successful 2003 publication on 'Waste generated and treated in Europe'. It is the last publication based on the data collection via the joint OECD/Eurostat questionnaire. In 2006 this questionnaire will be replaced by reporting under the Waste Statistics Regulation. This publication provides important baseline data for the implementation of national and European policies on waste management. In addition, it informs about the new legally covered reporting scheme.
