Detailed statistics on passenger and freight transport by air and sea for the EU Member States, Candidate and EEA countries 2003/2004 in CD-ROM format.

The section on air transport statistics presents air transport data for passengers (in number of passengers), for freight and mail (in tonnes) and for aircraft movements. The publication displays data provided by all Member States of the European Union, the Candidate Countries as well as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland. The air transport data have been calculated using data collected at airport level.

The section on maritime transport statistics presents data on seaborne transport of goods, passenger movements and vessel movements by sea. The publication displays data provided by 20 Member States of the European Union (the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Hungary, Austria and Slovakia have no maritime ports), by Candidate Countries (Bulgaria and Romania) and by two EEA Countries (Iceland and Norway).
