EU wastes tonnes of food, and UK is the worst offender

Report of the outcome of a Joint Research Centre (JRC) funded project 'Lost water and nitrogen resources due to EU consumer food waste' published in the online academic journal Environmental Research Letters in August 2015. The study used data from used data from The Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the United Kingdom and Romania.
