On 22 July 2015 the European Commission, on behalf of the EU, disbursed a loan of €600 million to Ukraine. This corresponded to the first instalment under the new Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) programme for Ukraine, which amounts to a total of €1.8 billion. Following the disbursement, Ukraine would still be able to benefit from up to €1.2 billion from the existing programme, subject to the successful implementation of reforms. |
