Andriukaitis: Health isn’t an expenditure

European Union's health and food safety commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis took part in an event organised by the European Policy Centre on 16 July 2015.

During the event, Mr Andriukaitis outlined his priorities until 2019 and shared his views of Health as an investment rather than an expenditure.

He also mentioned the challenges health policy faced in times of economic constraint and showed he was aware of the calls for a EU-wide alcohol strategy.
