Politico published in July 2015 a feature on the impact of the Greek crisis in Central and Eastern Europe. Some countries, which are part of the European Union but not yet of the Eurozone, feared the outcome of the referendum in Greece could trigger further integration, leaving them isolated in a two-speed Europe. Others took on a hard line on Greece, after their own painful reforms and austerity programmes were completed.

Another article, from EUObserver, showed the impact the Greek crisis in the neighbouring Balkan region.
