Press Release: Circular economy: ‘systemic change’ needed to address resource scarcity

The European Parliament's environment committee approved a resolution on 17 June 2015 demanding binding waste-reduction targets, revamped ecodesign legislation and measures to break the link between growth and the use of natural resources.

Members of this committee called on the European Commission to table new legislation by the end of 2015.
